About The Project
Karaoke is Japanese for either "Empty Orchestra" or "Go home, you're drunk!". "Karaoke Big Ass Ham" means low-tech, hi-energy bar entertainment! We have a growing list of karaoke songs and pre-scripted standup comedy. Try the veal!

We have a low-tech/no-tech approach to our evening... two mics, printed lyrics & comedy scripts, an MP3 laptop, ice cold beer and fabulous prizes. You can sing and win a canned ham or a t-shirt! Your host, Bill Carney and a cast of regulars, guide you through this lo-fi safari. Tony Limuaco works the MP3 laptop while Abe Maneri and Charlie Young serve up the lyrics. (No cover)

Check out Don TV, it's the perfect karaoke video companion. The Village Voice says:
"Among the clunky mountains of half-ass video pastiche, Donald O'Finn's feverishly edited encyclopedically strange video collages are lively rivers. With or without a buzz, his jump-cut barrages of "reality TV" moments, loopy segments of odd porn and burlesque, left-field ve'rite', and all kinds of other crazy bric-a-brac footage ia a liquid experience. ...his editing is so hyper-intuitive that the culture shocks and time warps gel into a state of half vertigo and half trance. Catch his videos at Freddy's."
But is it art? You'll have to see for youself. Don TV plays every night at Freddy's.
